Switching IT companies

Feel like you're paying for things to be broken?

You should be paying your IT company to keep things working, not to show up after they break. If they go quiet for days and you never know where things stand, get a second opinion.

Sound familiar?

Signs it's time for a new IT company.

  • You're paying for things to be broken. You pay every month, but you only hear from them when something's down.
  • They go quiet for days at a time. You send a request, then nothing. No reply, no update, no idea if anyone's on it.
  • You never know where things stand. Is it fixed? Is a part on order? You have to chase them to find out.
  • Every fix comes with a surprise bill.So you wait to call until things are really broken.
  • You don't know who has your passwords. If they disappeared tomorrow, could you get into your own email?
  • You get a different person every time. And you explain the same problem all over again.

If a few of these sound like your office, a second opinion costs you nothing. See how switching works

How it works

How switching works.

  1. 01A call or a visit

    Second opinion

Tell us what's going on. We go over what you're paying for and what you're getting, and tell you plainly what we'd do differently.

  2. 02After that

    A second quote

If you want, we send you a plain plan with one monthly price, so you can compare it with what you pay now.

  3. 03The switch

    The hand-off

We handle the hand-off with your old IT company. One short visit gets your computers set up with us, and we do most of the rest after hours.

  4. 04Ongoing

    We take it from here

We watch your systems day and night, answer when you call, keep you posted on where things stand, and come out when a fix can't be done remotely.

When you switch

What we handle, so you don't have to.

You shouldn't have to chase your old IT company for passwords. If you hire us, getting everything handed over is our job, not yours.

What we take care of

1Your old IT company

We work with them directly to get everything handed over.

2Admin access and passwords

Admin logins for your computers, servers, firewall and Wi-Fi, owned by your business.

3Domain and Microsoft 365

Your domain and email admin accounts, in your company's name, with a login your team can get to.

4Documentation

We write down how your setup works as we go, so it isn't stuck in one person's head.

5Backups

We keep your old backups running until the new ones are working.

6Their tools, our tools

We take their remote access and monitoring software off your computers and set up ours.

If you hire us, this is our job, not yours

What do I get from the second opinion?

A straight answer on your current IT: what you're paying for, what you're getting, and what we'd do differently. If you want, we send you a quote to compare. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything.

Is it a call or a visit?

Your pick. A call works if you just want to talk it through. If you'd rather we see your setup in person, we'll come to your office.

Is switching a hassle?

Not much. We handle the hand-off with your old IT company. We'll need one short visit to get your computers set up with us, and we do most of the rest after hours, so your team keeps working.

We're still under contract with our IT company. Now what?

Look for the notice period and any fee for leaving early. We can go over it with you during the second opinion, and it doesn't commit you to anything.

Who should own our logins and accounts?

Your business. Your domain, email admin and backups should be in your company's name, with a login someone on your team can get to. When you switch, we make sure they are.

Do I have to sign a contract with you?

For monthly service, yes. The contract is what keeps the monthly price affordable. The second opinion doesn't commit you to anything.

How much is the monthly plan?

One flat price per person, per month, based on what you need. Bigger jobs, like new wiring or cameras, get a price up front. You'll have exact numbers in your quote.

Which areas do you serve?

We're based in Newburgh, serving Evansville and the Tri-State.
